As a follow up of signing Association Agreement with EU the demand on Higly Qualified professionals in Georgia is increased drastically. The role of the Institute for European Studies (IES) of Tbilisi State University is crucial in this process.

The Institute for European Studies (IES) of Tbilisi State University, established by EU Project "Establishment of a Center for European Studies", is announcing admission for new 2014-2015 academic year for English-speaking Masterʹs in European Studies Program (MAES) with the mobility opportunities with the European Universities and internships in public as well as private sector.
 
Visit to Free University of Brussels

Within the framework of TEMPUS Project: "Innovating Teaching and Learning of European Studies" on 17-21st of June 2014 Administrative and Academic Staff of TSU Institute for European Studies participated in visit to Free University of Brussels.
 
PhD Program in European Studies - First Intake of PhD Students

TSU Institute for European Studies congratulates the first intake of students for being accepted at PhD Program in European Studies and wishes good luck in all their future endeavors.

The admission Process of First Intake of PhD Students at TSU Institute for European Studies is finished. The overall number of applicants was twenty-six (26) persons. Out of twenty-six (26) applicants nineteen (19) had been short-listed and interviewed. Even though the competition was announced for twelve (12) PhD positions, the high quality of candidates as well as the importance of research area convinced the panel of Professors and experts to increase a quota as a result of which fifteen (15) candidates had been admitted, out of which four (4) candidates are non-Georgian citizens (two from Azerbaijan, one from the Ukraine and one from the Spain).

Meeting with Representatives of the Telavi State University

Today the meeting of the Director of TSU Institute for European Studies with the representatives of the Telavi State University took place. The Meeting was organized within the framework of EU Funded Project "Establishing Multidisciplinary English Taught PhD Program in European Studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University". Being part of Awareness Raising Campaign about the PhD program Meeting intended to inform prospective applicants about the possibility to be enrolled at PhD Program.
